Justin is a native of Minnesota but has lived in various parts of the country and finally settling back in his home state in 2003. While living in other parts of the country, he was introduced to God and the Gospel through Young Life where he soon became a volunteer leader in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where he went to college.
In college he met his wife Sarah and also began working the Navigators campus ministry. Justin then came on staff with the Navigators two years following graduating where he focused on discipling students, leadership development, and evangelism on campus.
Justin joined the staff of Eastridge in 2013 as Associate Pastor. He lives in Lakeside with his wife Sarah, son Jude and daughter Lucy. Justin has his Masters of Divinity from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul MN. When he's not at church Justin likes to watch sports, hang out with his family, cook and read.
Brittney Kaarbo Creative Pastor
Brittney is a native Duluthian. She has loved living, working, and building community in this area. In 2019, she graduated from UMD with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a Minor in Film Studies.
At a young age, Brittney felt Jesus' transforming love penetrate her heart and has since then developed a passion for serving in various church ministries. From small groups to worship teams to mission trips, she has seen God move in her life, and the lives of others, in an amazingly tangible way.
In September 2017, Brittney joined Eastridge as an intern on the worship team. She was later added to the staff as Worship Pastor in April 2018. Her passions include music and theater, spending time with her loved ones, and marathoning Lord of the Rings. 1 Peter 4:8-11
Emily Dimich Ministry Assistant
Emily is a Twin Ports native who graduated from St. Scholastica in 2010. Emily worked at Essentia Health for several years before leaving the corporate world to become a stay at home mom.
Emily is married to her husband, Adam, and they have two young children, Garrett and Gracie. Their family started attending Eastridge in 2015 after making the decision to live a faith based family life. Emily was baptized at Eastridge in 2018 and works daily to deepen her relationship with God. As the story goes: Once she was lost and now she is found.
Emily joined the Eastridge team in November 2019. Emily loves coffee, family time, living an active lifestyle, more coffee, house plants, organizing, decorating, and you guessed it, more coffee!
