GriefShare at Eastridge
Thursdays, September 10 – December 10 | 6:00–8:00 PM

Grief is not something you get over. It's something you walk through, and no one should have to walk through it alone.

This fall, Eastridge is hosting GriefShare, a twelve-week support group for anyone who has lost someone they love. Whether your loss was last month or fifteen years ago, whether it was a spouse, a child, a parent, a sibling, or a friend, there is a place for you here.

Each week includes three parts: a video featuring counselors, pastors, and people who have walked this road themselves; honest small group conversation with others who understand; and a personal study guide to work through during the week at your own pace. You are never required to speak. Many people spend the first few weeks simply listening, and that is completely okay.

Grief can be an isolating season. The casseroles stop coming. The calls slow down. Everyone else's life moves forward while yours feels stopped. GriefShare exists for exactly that stretch, the long middle, after the funeral, when the world assumes you should be fine and you are not. There is no timeline on this, and no one here is going to rush you.

We believe Eastridge exists to be a church that stands together in every season, and some seasons are heavy. This is one of the ways we do that.
